A News Item That Interest Me

The news is about a Helicopter accident which killed 9 people. One of the people that died because of that accident was Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant was a professional basketball player in America. He died on Sunday morning on 26 January 2020. Along with those nine people that died is his 13-year-old daughter Giana Bryant. The crash happened on Calabasas, California, United States.

I found this news interesting. After all, his death was something that I don't think a lot of people expected because he uses a helicopter regularly and was his prefered way of transportation. another reason why I found this interesting was why they still flew the plane even though the weather condition is bad.

Kobe Bryant's death at the age of 41 stunned his fans across the world. People were devastated about his death because they looked up to him as their role model and someone that they aspire to be. Because of his legacy and his impact on others, a lot of people respect him. Therefore when a media outlet has published the news about the crash a lot of people were angry because the families of the victims haven't been notified about what happened.

That news made me think about the fact that everyone's going to die one day. It makes me think about what I would have done if I was in that situation. That also made me feel sad for the family of the people that died.
