Pita Pockets

Yesterday we made Pita Pockets and I worked with Anne and Jordan. We were proud about how the Pita Pocket turn out and how well we all worked together. Next time we could improve on is our cleaning and using the knife safely.



Pita Pocket recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pita casing per person
  • Lettuce
  • Cheese
  • Tomato
  • Grated carrot
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1t oil
  • Sauces - tomato, bbq, mayo, hummus, chili
  • 70 grams of chicken or 1 breast per table
Method:
  1. Saute the chicken and onion together in a pan with oil, high-med heat
  2. Chop and grate the vegetables you require
  3. Place pita pocket in microwave for 20 seconds
  4. Cut open the pita pocket along the crease
  5. stuff pita pockets with required fllings
